quislingism Definition

The policy, doctrine, or action of a quisling, a person who cooperates with an invader or occupier, especially in a formal or overt way, and often used to describe a traitor or collaborator backing a foreign power or occupying force within their own country. It was named after Vidkun Quisling, a Norwegian politician who collaborated with Nazi Germany during World War II.
