A morbid or exaggerated fear of beautiful or melodious sounds, or of euphonious words and phrases. It is a rare and hypothetical condition in which a person suffering from it finds the mere sound of smooth or musical sounds unbearable, often associated with anxiety or a dislike of certain musical instruments, voices, or linguistic features.
