Octatropine Definition

Octatropine is an anticholinergic drug used topically to reduce intraocular pressure after surgery and to relieve symptoms of glaucoma. It acts by blocking muscarinic acetylcholine receptors, thus inhibiting the contraction of the ciliary muscle and reducing the production of aqueous humor in the eye.
