Downpatrick Definition

A city in County Down, Northern Ireland, situated about 10 miles (16 km) southwest of the capital, Belfast. It is noted for its cathedral, mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Down and Connor, and for being the reputed burial place of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.
